In the summer of 2011 I had the opportunity to shoot the pilot episode of a travel TV show in the Republic of Georgia. It was an amazing, life changing experience.
Using my daily travel video diaries and just a small portion of B-Roll footage I was allowed to keep I crafted this short travel film. It is a short, personal story about what it was like to shoot in Georgia. I premiered the film on Sept 7th, 2012 at the Reno Raw Showcase at Cargo at Comm Row, Downtown Reno, NV. The short film received an enthusiastic reaction. My favorite part was watching the crowd dancing and smiling to the soundtrack of traditional Georgian Music.
The country of Georgia is insanely beautiful and the peoples hospitality, as I came to find out, is world class. I had so much fun shooting in this country, I highly recommend venturous travelers to take a look at Georgia and give it a shot. You will not be disappointed.
